Introduction to Photography
Excited to collaborate with Waipahu Adult Education Center to bring you folks a free Introduction to Photography taught by me. Learn the basics of camera operation, from understanding different settings to mastering manual mode. Discover the importance of legal compliance in photography permits and whatnot. Dive into the art of lighting and composition, as well as techniques for capturing stunning portraits that truly reflect your subject’s essence.

Edmar CastilloProfessional Wedding PhotographerEdmar Castillo is a Filipino American from Honolulu, Hawaii. Raised by his single mother who came from the Philippines, he developed the “bayanihan spirit” and valued communal unity and cooperation, especially in times of need. Nearly 9 years, Edmar served as an Investigator specializing in forensic photography before transitioning to wedding photography. This transition was driven by his desire to embody the bayanihan spirit and create a meaningful impact in people’s lives during their most cherished moments. His dedication to his craft was recognized when he obtained his Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) credentials from the Professional Photographer of America (PPA) in 2021.
